About Us
In 1989, Mick (the original Spud Man), started the buisness serving traditional baked potatoes and our famous hot roast pork baps will all the trimmings. Back then, Mick didn't have a dedicated shop to serve from, so he had to pull the huge oven out of the basement of the Evesham Shopping Centre every day and would set up shop just inside of the entrance.
After a short while, a unit became available in the shopping centre which Mick decided to move into, and this became our home that you all know and love for the next 30+ years.
In 2010, Tom (Mick's son) went from being an occasional helper to helping full time, and they worked together for the next 7 years until Mick handed the business over to Tom to run as his own in 2018.
Tom would continue to run the business just as Mick had (if it ain't broke!) for the next 6 years, and then moved the business to our current location in Evesham Market Place in July 2023.
